Nonino Amaro Quintessentia is a refined Italian amaro with bittersweet orange, warm spice, alpine herbs, and a smooth grappa-based depth. Made from an old Nonino family recipe, it is enriched with ÙE grape distillate aged at least 12 months in Limousin, Nevers, and ex-Sherry barriques. Bottled at 35% ABV, it is elegant enough to sip, but famous for cocktails.

Producer

Nonino has been distilling in Friuli, Italy since 1897 and is one of the families most closely associated with elevating grappa. In 1973, Benito and Giannola Nonino created the first single-varietal grappa, Monovitigno Nonino, by distilling Picolit grape pomace separately. That same family focus on grape distillation, regional identity, and innovation carries into Amaro Quintessentia.
