La Gauloise Classic Green Liqueur is a powerful French herbal liqueur with layers of alpine herbs, warm spice, citrus, and subtle floral sweetness. Angelica, St. John’s wort, saffron, cardamom, genepi, and other botanicals create a complex profile with hints of mint, pepper, and resinous greenery. Bottled at 48% ABV, it delivers considerable intensity while maintaining a rounded, sweet herbal finish.

Producer

La Gauloise traces its modern history to 1783, when distiller Edouard Requier reportedly rediscovered the recipe in an old grimoire. Now produced by Distillerie du Centre in Limoges, France, its botanicals are double-distilled over a wood fire before being blended with eau-de-vie and sugar. Master liqueur maker Pierre Nouhaud continues this unusually traditional production method.
